About Dawn and the Marionettes

I made my first marionettes and put on a show when I was age Eleven. Years later when I had children, I created several shows and performed at local festivals. Once again I am honing my skills and creating my best work. Many of my marionettes have seven to nine strings. I create a soundtrack and prerecord voice over’s. My shows are catered to adults and children. I hope my marionettes can suspend the onlookers moment of reality in a fun way, so that the audience is actually at play with me. I also enjoy doing a Q and A, after the show for schools, camps and any organization.

DETAILS and COST

The Dragon of Junkshire This comedy has a renaissance feel with 21st century jabs, the story revolves around several characters. The music and the story are unique and engaging. Junkshire requires a 10 foot wide by 6 foot deep space.

The Homeless Holiday Marionettes In this show, I am a homeless person who pulls out different marionettes to perform with various Christmas music.

Performance is approximately 30 minutes plus a one hour set up. Local cost is $200. per show or $300 for two showings per show.
